A Better Place To Be at Picture Room Gallery

In this body of work, Corrigan explores how to materialize and immortalize memories of individuals in the analog. The show consists of four pieces of bespoke ceramic lighting each paired with a secondhand fabric - a former curtain, table cloth, wedding dress. Alongside her lighting, Corrigan has curated a selection of memorabilia including handwritten postcards dating between 1926-1985, artifacts with her late father’s handwriting, and objects that previously belonged to close connections who have since passed.
